Overall Responsibilities

•Manage all reporting / ad hoc analyses for our digital product sales, broken down within various segments (by retailer/channel, by franchise, by type, etc). This responsibility includes developing / refining the reporting process and leading the evaluations of the necessary systems to support this function.
•Support the business and key stakeholders – leverage our information sources to support our decisions and provide insights into audience behavior
•Develop compelling weekly and monthly written analyses and presentations
•Continuously identify emerging solutions to manage our in-house reporting for our product sales as well as competitive benchmarking services
•Report key sales metrics for digital product sales: Revenue, Net Proceeds, Units, Upsells, Returns
•Produce recurring analyses based on both internal services and third-party tracking solutions
•Develop expertise with each reporting platform – OLAP Cubes, Third-party reporting packages and retailer-provided interfaces (ie iTunes Connect, Amazon, etc)
•Work collaboratively with the site business teams – learn the businesses and proactively inform stakeholders on key trends and market movements
•Monitor the competitive environment on an ongoing basis and provide regular written updates on key competitors; flag and analyze the performance of new entrants
•Continually refine processes and streamline reporting cycles – work cross-functionally with business teams, technology teams and vendors to implement solutions

Basic Qualifications:


•2-5 years of research / analytics experience, preferably working with retail / Point-of-Sale data (retailer-provided or data from research firms such as ACNielsen/NPD/IRI)
•College degree
•Numbers-oriented, strategic thinker with strong analytical skills, an affinity for data and the ability to find and tell a clear story based upon findings
•An understanding of the mobile / tablet marketplace. Knowledgeable about mobile app business models and the digital products market.
•Strong aptitude for working with large sets of quantitative data and extracting the most relevant points
•Must work well under pressure and be able to meet multiple deadlines
