Manage and execute media relations activity nationwide for Nickelodeon’s Consumer Products, Digital Media, and Interactive businesses. Position will report to Director, Off-Channel Corporate Communications.


•Work with PR Director to devise and execute publicity campaigns for Nickelodeon’s digital media and interactive businesses (online, mobile, apps, gaming, non-advertising and paid content businesses).
•Serve as day-to-day contact with Nickelodeon Consumer Products department, coordinating assigned projects, inquiries and required assets.
•Manage relationships with licensors and their respective PR agencies.
•Write department-initiated press releases as assigned.
•Pitch national and local print and electronic press.
•Manage media reviews for network’s mobile application releases and consumer product (toy) releases.
•Keep and update Consumer Products and Digital media trade and consumer press lists.
•Attend level-appropriate meetings.
•Liaise with all departments (i.e. programming, photography, development, research) on various press-related projects.
•Monitor and disseminate media coverage through PR Status Reports to executives and marketing teams.
•Contribute to publicity efforts across all Nickelodeon press channels as needed.
Basic Qualifications:

•Bachelors Degree
•5 plus years of publicity experience
•Strong Communication skills
•Must have strong relationships with national and trade press, including tech, television and business reporters.
•Strong writing and pitching skills.
•Strong team player
•Organizational ability with key attention to detail
•Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced deadline driven environment
Desired Qualifications:

•Digital Background preferred
•Ability to work cooperatively with colleagues and supervisory staffs at all levels
•Ability to communicate effectively in writing
•Ability to orally communicate effectively with others
