Antiques Roadshow is seeking an Account Executive (AE) to coordinate PR, social media and general marketing efforts for their ten-time Emmy-nominated series. The Account Executive will report into the series Account Manager for National Marketing. We are looking for a passionate, results-oriented professional who is a team player, and works toward the goals of the entire Antiques Roadshow production and WGBH. The AE will be the lead social media point-person for the series; implementing the series’ social media strategy, enhancing brand awareness, generating inbound traffic and encouraging tune-in and conversation. The AE coordinates with internal departments ensuring consistency in the Antiques Roadshow voice, and will collaborate with the series Account Manager to develop and execute the social media editorial calendar and Antiques Roadshow PR timeline and strategy. Reporting to the Account Manager, the AE's responsibilities will include: create and distribute press lists, photos, program listings, press kits and other materials for Roadshow’s media relations efforts across all forms of media, such as long-lead editorial, short-lead press, broadcast, online and social media. Actively seek and develop relationships with third-party editorial and promotional partners. Cultivate the series’ digital presence and blogger outreach. In collaboration with the Antiques Roadshow website team and the Account Manager, create content, post, and monitor community reaction to Antiques Roadshow’s social media efforts, including, but not limited to Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest and a weekly e-newsletter. Work directly with and provide support for series talent, Executive Producer, other members of the production unit, PBS, PBS member stations, and internal WGBH departments. Monitor and distribute results in the form of hard clips, electronic clips, mp3s, mp4s, screen grabs, etc. Travel: Flexible schedule required. 80% travel schedule during series’ 8-city summer tour (June 1-August 17) required. An active driver’s license and the ability to escort talent to interviews is essential.

A minimum of 3 years experience in public relations, media relations and marketing with a strong emphasis on direct pitching to press and curating content for social media platforms. Experience must include print, broadcast, on-line and social media campaigns. Must be comfortable multi-tasking and managing fast-moving, detailed projects on a time and within budget. Experience within the television industry is a plus.
Bachelors degree, or equivalent work experience, or higher.
