She/he will work closely with CEO/Founder and Marketing Director to coordinate small and large events from concept development to operation and execution. He/she will supervise all aspects of special events, including coordination of permits, scheduling celebrity guests, and organizing the event calendar. He/she will work with CEO/Founder and Marketing Director to maintain budgets for events, and coordinate teams throughout the planning process and day of event responsibilities. She/he will facilitate special event weekly meetings as needed, and compile status reports and After Event Reviews. Also, she/he will provide coordination, supervision, leadership and motivation needed for Serendipity magazine to exceed guest and client expectations of service and professionalism.

•Act as a liaison with other Serendipity departments for the coordination of events.
•Requires excellent people skills, including the ability to maintain positive and supportive working relationships.
•Computer proficiency with ability to use Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and Internet is required.
•Availability to attend after-hour and weekend networking and social events.
•Ability to work in a fast paced and deadline driven environment, meeting deadlines and productivity standards.
•Demonstrated ability to proactively manage multiple tasks effectively; superior organizational skills and strict attention to detail a must.
•Self-motivated with strong work ethic, initiative and can-do attitude.

1. Administrative Duties include facilitating and executing special event permits, purchase requests, check requests, and, contracts
2. Research and compile information to develop a working database of qualified production, creative and Special Event resources.
3. Work with CEO/Founder and Marketing Director to establish internal teams and outside vendor support to execute Special Events.
4. Facilitate weekly Special Event and project meetings as needed; reporting to CEO/Founder and Marketing Director on the development and execution events.
5. Serve as an Operations liaison with other departments, including Advertising Sales Team and Editorial Team for the purposes of developing, coordinating and executing events.
6. Monitor and update Special Events Calendars; and develop Event Plans (Event Activity Breakdowns).
7. Provide Day of event supervision and support for Event Project Teams and clients.
8. Create and maintain databases to keep the department files up to date and execute special projects surrounding them upon request.
9. Work with CEO/Founder and Marketing Director to create Budget worksheets for events as assigned, and effectively manage budget through planning process.
10. Performs any other assignments given by the Founder/CEO, and Director of Marketing
