Sponsorship Sales Manager
The Manager will serve as the primary contact point for a variety of NYRA corporate and industry related sponsors. The successful candidate will be responsible for prospecting, presenting, negotiating and closing sponsorship deals; writing client specific sales goals, building and maintaining excellent relationships with third party sales agents; managing and/or supporting fulfillment of sponsorship agreements, and developing sponsorship packages that maintain a healthy profit margin as per NYRA policy.
This position requires a self-motivated candidate with a Bachelor’s Degree, an outgoing personality, and experience with Microsoft PowerPoint, Word and Excel. The Sponsorship Sales Manager must have relevant sales and/or Sports Sponsorship experience, the ability to build strong relationships with Senior Marketing Executives, and demonstrated analytical and writing skills. This position requires the ability to work on site at all three NYRA racetracks: Belmont Park, Aqueduct and Saratoga Race Course for 7 weeks during the summer.
