Full Time
Gannett Custom Media seeks a motivated, creative senior graphic designer to help produce great print and digital products for USA TODAY and other Gannett news organizations. Emphasis will be on magazine, website and tablet design. The ideal candidate possesses outstanding visual communication skills, brings creative thought to the job every day, sweats the details and thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Products include:

High-quality glossy magazines for USA TODAY on topics including travel, health and women’s lifestyle, among others. These magazines are sold on newsstands nationally.
Special newsprint publications for USA TODAY on topics including government and city guides, sold on newsstands separate from the daily newspaper.
Custom websites and other digital/mobile products.
Tablet editions of magazines.

We want someone who comes to work with big ideas but who also pays attention to the details. This key designer role provides ample opportunity to flex your creative muscles and create products that consumers love. An ability to juggle multiple projects and a positive, can-do attitude are crucial.

We are specifically looking for a designer with both magazine and digital experience, who understand what makes for great consumer experiences in each platform, and who strives to produce sophisticated creative work.

This is an important position, with much responsibility, so we are looking for a candidate with the right mix of skills and passion, someone who can help us as we continually strive to improve our products.
