- Work with sales and marketing team to design and produce sales proposals and presentations including comps that effectively illustrate ideas and concepts
- Create promotional materials including brochures, ads, premiums and web blasts
- Design invitations, signage, and other event-related collateral
- Manage outside vendor relationships (design firms, printers)
- Develop and manage marketing projects to budget
- Work with other departments (circulation, production, web site) as needed to create collateral material and sales tools
- Work with management team to develop and execute effective branding materials
- Position reports to the Associate Publisher, Marketing

- Work as a member of a team
- Work on tasks independently
- Handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Organize and prioritize work under pressure
- Manage project details and see projects through to completion
- Work within an assigned budget

- B.A. degree in design/fine arts or related field
- 5+ years of publishing (print and/or digital) experience within a marketing department
- Experience designing for both print and digital based projects.
- Must have thorough knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, In Design, Illustrator, Acrobat) and PowerPoint, HTML, CSS and Flash.
- Thorough knowledge of print production techniques and file preparation for web, offset and digital applications
- Project management experience
- Strong written and oral communication skills
