D. E. Shaw Research seeks an exceptionally articulate, proactive, and resourceful editorial assistant whose responsibilities will include participating in the editing of scientific papers, managing schedules and events, providing general administrative support, and liaising with various departments within the company and outside firms. Among the groups current activities is a project aimed at developing a specialized supercomputer for biomolecular simulations and pharmaceutical design.

This full-time position offers generous compensation, full benefits, a collegial working environment with casual dress, and schedule flexibility.
