In this highly visible role, the Communications and Marketing Manager will manage, design and implement a communications and marketing strategy to enhance business opportunities and increase visibility for the Children’s Center Foundation and the Department of Pediatrics.

Responsibilities will include:
•Creating special events for the Children’s Center Foundation and the Department of Pediatrics
•Coordinating and managing all CCF donor needs
•Developing long-term and short-term communications and marketing objectives,
strategies and production timelines
•Evaluating and analyzing existing strategies and creating new strategies to support
business objectives
•Overseeing the development of printed material, press releases and digital media
•Working collaboratively with Senior Leadership to identify and develop potential news stories
•Adhering to Corporate Marketing procedures and style guidelines
•Developing standardized internal policies and procedures
•Writing, editing and proofreading content
•Developing layouts and designs
•Working with outside vendors and internal services to publish, print and distribute materials
•Developing content and creating an on-line presence for our programs, including the website, Facebook and Twitter handles
•Overseeing the review of all purchase orders, contract terms and conditions, pricing
and proposal preparation/submission
•Managing marketing budgets within the department
•Performing other related duties as needed

To qualify, you must have a Bachelor’s Degree in public relations, marketing, business or related field along with 3 years marketing experience including 2 years of management, preferably in a healthcare setting. Superior oral/written communication, interpersonal and organizational skills will be expected. Ability to multi-task and think analytically is a must. Strong PC skills with demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite is required. Master’s Degree preferred.
