Social Media Coordinator

BRIGADE, a Manhattan-based entertainment publicity and digital marketing agency seeks an entry-level Social Media Coordinator to assist the Social Media Team on multiple clients/campaigns in the entertainment space. Ideal candidate must be very well-versed in the digital world – including familiarity with popular websites, blogs, social media environments, mobile/apps; as well as a strong knowledge of and interest in newly-emerging platforms and industry trends.

Providing the Social Media Team with support on all social media campaigns.
Assist the Social Media Managers in the day-to-day management and execution of social media campaigns (Twitter, Facebook, Pinterest, Tumblr, Instagram and any other newly emerging platforms).
Responsible for weekly campaign status reports and buzz monitoring reports.
Conducting and compiling research about the social media space, as well as research related to the development and execution of specific campaigns.
Ability to track online discussions and buzz surrounding campaigns – including various social media environments and online forums.

0-1 Year of Experience in Social Media Marketing/Digital Marketing
A self-starter mentality with a solid sense of judgement.
A skilled team player who can handle multiple tasks at once.
Proactive, detail-oriented, and extremely organized.
Adherent to deadlines and follow-through.
Creative thinker who can contribute ideas and collaborate on strategies for campaigns.
Proficiency in Powerpoint, Keynote, Excel, etc.
Comfortable working with a variety of social media dashboards and monitoring tools (HootSuite, Tweetdeck, Seesmic, etc.)

Film/Television digital marketing experience a plus.
