Knowledge, Education and Experience:
oB.A. degree required
oMinimum 5 years work experience required; preferably in a broadcast media environment
oDemonstrated strong intellectual curiosity and a basic familiarity with the broad spectrum of the day’s major figures and issues in politics and public policy, science and technology, and culture.
oStrong connections and networks among leading thinkers and public figures a plus
oShould have experience and confidence to work directly with VIPs (and their staffs) across a broad range of issues.
oExperience with TV/radio production or live event management a plus.
oExcellent written and verbal communication skills.
oExcellent team skills.
oExcellent organizational, interpersonal and time management skills.
oProficiency in Internet use, Microsoft Office suite, database software.
oDemonstrated ability to work independently and in a group to produce successful results.
