Key Responsibilities:

  • Maximize revenue opportunities by developing market-differentiating mobile solutions that meet and exceed client performance KPIs (e.g. Tap to Call, Click to Purchase)

  • Beginning with analytical business cases, be able to justify why new product development will meet performance advertiser benchmarks and also balance with Pandora monetization goals

  • Serve as core project manager for the Direct Response ad product supply chain by working with multiple cross-functional teams to define needs, understand requirements and build cutting-edge advertising solutions

  • Serve as project lead to develop and champion ad product specifications

  • Help create internal Sales educational materials to be applied through Marketing and Training efforts

  • Function as a Direct Response digital media Subject Matter Expert (SME), internally and externally, by staying on top of marketplace changes, vendor innovation, competitive advances (i.e. Facebook, ad portals, top mobile apps), industry trades/events and sales requests


Qualifications:

  • Strong working knowledge of Direct Response advertising – online/mobile advertising, CPC vs. CPM pricing models, RTB platforms, ad serving capabilities, rich media, DSPs, Publishers, 1st and 3rd data providers

  • Experience with digital targeting solutions (e.g. retargeting, audience segmentation, dynamic ads)

  • A deep appreciation for next generation advertising solutions and passion for new and emerging technologies

  • Ability to work collaboratively with the sales marketing team, sales, product, engineering, design, ad tech, etc.

  • Familiarity with conversion tracking tools and tactics

  • Strong attention to detail, project management, and analytical skills to craft business cases for ad solution scenario modeling and new product development

  • Mastery of key software such as digital presentation tools, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word

  • Outstanding critical thinking, interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills


Requirements & Education:

  • 5-7 years working in online advertising, agency or publisher-side

  • BA degree in related field

  • Preferred, but not required: 2-3 years experience in mobile ad network or mobile rich media company (e.g. Yahoo!, Facebook, MSN, Millennial Media, AdMob, Jumptap, Tapjoy, Celtra)
