Thinking about a role with an online industry leader where you will directly impact driving accelerated revenue growth for our $1 billion plus display advertising business? You will have a unique opportunity to have full visibility across both the Supply and Demand channels to maximize advertising monetization. In this role you will be leading various pricing & yield decisions for all Americas display advertising, including establishing rates, monitoring demand channel trends, identifying yield opportunities and evaluating the impact of different ad technology on monetization. Additionally as we move aggressively towards Audience based advertising on a programmatic basis, this role will partner with our product development team and sales leadership to define the optimal delivery and go-to-market strategy to maximize revenue.

This is an important and challenging operating position, and we’re looking for a talented leader with creative perspective that can proactively define new yield management methods in the quickly evolving online advertising market. This position will be located in Sunnyvale or San Francisco.

The ideal candidate will have prior experience in a quantitative, data-driven role in an operational or pricing/yield environment and will demonstrate: 1) strong quantitative skills, 2) independence and pro-activity in identifying areas for improvement and thinking of new processes 3) a blend of business and technical skills and a successful track-record of applying quantitative decision-making techniques in a business-setting, and 4) experience in working with sales and/or operations teams.

Required skills BA/BS with a focus on Economics, Statistics, Business, Operations Research or related engineering/quantitative discipline. MS/MBA a plus 8+ years of professional experience in areas related to quantitative analysis or financial operations Prior experience in quantitative analysis and/or decision making preferably in an operational role A blend of business and technical skills and a successful track-record of working cross functionally Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Ability to present results of complex analyses clearly and to interface with cross-functional teams at all levels of seniority Comfort with ambiguity and the desire to figure things out and define new processes Prior experience at online media companies or in a related industry Advanced proficiency in Excel and Powerpoint Prior display advertising experience a strong p
