This position reports to the Senior Manager of Event Marketing in Oakland and may be located in either Oakland or Los Angeles office.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the company’s events strategy from end-to-end, including planning, calendar management, venue site selection, contract negotiation, promotional strategy, premiums conception, attendee rooming lists, staffing schedules, vendor management, development of on-site materials and signage, pre-show communications to attendees, on-site execution, and tracking of budget and results

  • Develop, project manage and execute B2B, client hospitality, internal, B2C and custom branded events

  • Assist Senior Manager of Events and work with Event Marketing associate and Event Marketing Coordinator to ensure all event related details are managed and on budget

  • Help generate awareness for Pandora’s national and local advertising efforts through industry events, programming roadshows and client hospitality

  • Work cross-functionally with members of Strategic Solutions, Finance, Legal, Brand Marketing, PR, Curation and Design Teams on event project management

  • Work directly with national sales team on custom event pitches and sold event campaigns
    Manage event production and activation vendors


Requirements:

  • At least 3+ years experience in event planning, marketing or equivalent work experience

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills – proven ability to communicate with executives, peers, the public

  • Superb organizational skills with high attention to detail

  • Ability to prioritize multiple projects and work in a fast-paced environment

  • Exceptional computer skills – fluency in all Microsoft applications, especially Word, Outlook and basic PowerPoint (PC & MAC experience preferred), and Excel is required

  • Proactive and self-motivated with a strong work ethic

  • Willing to travel up to 50%
