Total Beauty Media Group is seeking a talented full-time Project Manager to join our fun, talented team.

Founded by some of the brightest minds in the beauty and media industries, is like for beauty product reviews plus an online beauty advice magazine all in one.

Ideal candidate must be detail-obsessed and able to manage multiple complex projects with fixed deadlines in a fast-paced team environment.

General Responsibilities:

The Project Manager supports Sales Campaign projects through the entire project lifecycle production from kick-off to closing. The project manager is responsible for successful delivery of project scope and all identified campaign elements.

This position requires the ability to communicate clearly, effectively and pro-actively to assure all involved team members are up to date on project progress and deadlines. The Project manager must have the ability to troubleshoot, problem solve and use good team management skills with a focus on upbeat team morale.

The Project Manager must be process oriented but capable of operating with a high-degree of flexibility and comfort adjusting to shifting priorities.

Specific Responsibilities:

1.Serve as primary day-to-day support for Sales Account team managing all aspects of a campaign
2.Manage project timelines, calendars and status reports weekly
3.Ensure project deliverables are executed on time and with a high degree of quality
4.Monitor project health, identify risks and develop contingencies when needed
5.Liaise with cross-functional team members to ensure all parties are appropriately briefed
6.Interface with departmental leads to gather requirements which will be translated into scope and technical requirements documents for the development and QA teams
7.Partner closely with content teams on project scheduling and asset organization
8.Manage all aspects of newsletter, email and sweepstakes campaigns
9.Write project and technical requirements specifications for Design and Development
10.Work with team to determine best practices and maintain Project Management process tools
11.Work with QA to ensure completed projects adhere to specs and reflect business/brand goals
12.Creatively conceive and champion best practices for new and ongoing processes and work with content and design teams to establish workflows for daily content programming


1.3-5 years experience as a digital project manager supporting Marketing, Advertising and Sales related content
2.Experience producing banners, custom advertising units and rich media creative
3.Previous experience or interest in learning product development methodologies, ecommerce operations and SEO strategy
4.Familiarity with content management and asset management systems and their limitations required
5.Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies preferred
6.Experience working in fast-paced media industry environment preferred
7.Excellent verbal and written communication
8.OCD-level attention to detail
9.Experience managing multiple concurrent Sales projects
10.Ability to work full-time from our Santa Monica location
11.Previous Agency experience preferred
