long lasting relationships between our influential audience and the brands that they love (or
sometimes haven’t even met yet!)

Account Executive – Home and Family

In the world of parenting and lifestyle, the tastemakers at sites like and deliver candid tips, product reviews, and ways to raise healthier, happier
children while keeping an eye on budgets along the way. The moms influence tens of millions
of dollars of consumer purchasing annually and Huddler helps them to connect and make the
right choices. Other sites like Cake Central, Chef Talk, Backyard Chickens, Remodelista, and
Gardenista bring together cake decorators, aspiring chefs, and those looking to improve their
homes, gardens, and the quality of the food that their families eat.

You’re looking for a career where you can take your knowledge of online advertising, couple it
with the ever-growing social space, and connect brands and agencies with the most targeted
audiences. It starts with engagement. We’re not talking Facebook “Likes,” but deep focus
groups, product sampling, surveys, giveaways, and content syndication.

Your objectives:

• Drive advertising revenue through direct sales by prospecting, developing new opportunities and
renewing revenue with existing partners to maximize long-term growth.
• Conduct consultative and strategic sales by educating agency and client partners on market
trends, advertising strategies and measurement/reporting of conversational marketing to
position Huddler and SAY Media as a leader in the space.

• Identify opportunities and make proactive recommendations to drive revenue growth outside of
standard display advertising.
• Make strategic recommendations on ad product development, implementation and execution
as it relates to your clients and to the company’s overall goals of maximizing advertiser
performance, driving sales and renewals.

Requirements of the job, including education and experience

• Be a self-starter and natural leader with a strong desire to win and grow personally and
• Think creatively, sell strategically, and communicate complex solutions efficiently both internally
and externally.
• Be knowledgeable and passionate about online media and the web as a marketing platform -
specifically conversational media and communities.
• Have a proven track record of profitable sales, relationship building, and customer retention with
brand marketers and their agencies.
• Demonstrate analytical ability and experience with project management.
• The ability to handle multiple challenges at once and being able to prioritize those tasks
• BS/BA degree or equivalent training and experience.
• 2-3 years of digital advertising sales experience.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong computer skills (Mac/PC).
• Knowledge of Salesforce a plus but not required.
