Associate Director of Sales
Cambridge University Press, a leader in academic publishing, seeks an Associate Director of Sales to join our Journals group. This newly created position will be responsible for implementing strategy to ensure continued growth, working closely with the Director of Online Sales, Americas. In addition, this individual will be responsible for supporting expansion of New York sales targets, line management of five team members, performance analysis and development and contribution to development of business models for new and existing products. This individual must possess drive and vision to lead and act as part of a success oriented team. This position requires 5+ years of sales experience in journal publishing or a closely related field. Experience in management of staff, as well as a Bachelor’s Degree are required; MA/MBA preferred; or the equivalent work experience in library sales including working with library consortia. Excellent communication, organization and PC skills required. Must be able to prioritize and meet sales budgets and contact requirements.
