Advance sales professionals are accountable for generating revenues from regional to medium size national advertisers. Accountable for developing advertising accounts via telephone and email. Builds relationships with current and prospective customers; understands customer needs; builds customer urgency. Responsible for proactive, outbound lead generation that leads to new advertising customers.

Responsibilities:
• Job emphasis is on recruiting new business through cold calls and existing account lists.
• Proactively prospecting and qualifying potential new advertising accounts.
• Sell advertising and sponsorship opportunities.
• Penetrate medium size organizations to obtain branded marketing dollars.
• Present persuasive sales presentations to all levels of an organization.
• Manage B Level accounts.
• Analyze campaign performance statistics and recommend optimized media solutions.
• Work with sales account team to put together top notch cross-network media strategies and plans.
• Manage, grow, and develop accounts

Requirements:
• The ability to manage an account list and consistently meet aggressive deadlines and goals.
• Demonstrate excellent follow up skills for all areas of sales cycle.
• Make compelling and motivating presentations to a target audience using visual aids and other media.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and persuasion and partnering skills.
• Ability to effectively and clearly communicate the value proposition of AOL.
• Strong customer focus – promoting customer satisfaction, resolution and loyalty.
• Must have strong understanding of marketing dynamics including demographic and psychographic targeting, brand positioning, and pricing models.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, with concentration in Marketing and advertising preferred
• Experience: Minimum 3 - 5 years of experience in internet advertising sales
• Superior phone skills, excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills; Results oriented, accountable, strong work ethic, strong team player. Outstanding computer skills including solid knowledge of Excel, Word, Power Point, and CRM systems
• Able to work effectively and excel in a matrix organization; Ability to adapt to a changing environment quickly and easily
