If you like what you’ve read so far, then please read on because this role may be perfect for you.The Job:Report directly to CMO & Chief Strategist, Marina HahnServe as digital and social media thought-leader, creating and executing Quirky’s digital, mobile and social media storytelling strategiesAct as liaison between Brand, Platform, E-Commerce, Community and Design teams to build a world-class online marketplace with a user interface, navigation flow and design the reflects Quirky’s brand priorities, brand positioning, brand voice and consumer targetCollaborate closely with Director of Brand Marketing, Whitny Sobala, as well as other team members and departments at Quirky including Strategic Partnerships, Experiential Marketing, Advertising, PR Retail, and more in order to create cohesive digital strategies that drive brand value and tell the Quirky story The Responsibilities: Create and execute Quirky’s digital, mobile and social media storytelling strategiesBrand lead for all platform marketing initiatives, inclusive of desktop and mobile, working with Platform lead to define platform marketing priorities, ensure implementation and assist with user testingLead Quirky’s customer acquisition strategy, including managing all SEO/SEM effortsOversee strategic and tactical development of Quirky’s digital analytics, managing SEM/SEO manager on implementation of analytics solutions, keyword lists and online marketing dashboardBrand lead for all short-term email marketing efforts, working in collaboration with Platform and Community teams to build touch point strategies, email flow and designsDevelop and execute digital consumer marketing programs and promotionsDevelop and communicate KPI and ROI metrics of all social and digital marketing efforts prior to execution and analyze effectiveness post-executionsLead content creation strategy and produce original branded programming to drive awareness, engagement and demand for the Quirky brand movement and our products, across all relevant digital channels (web, mobile, social, blogs, forums, partner syndication sites, etc.)Work closely with Quirky’s Resident Storyteller/Copywriter and Community Team to communicate with a consistent Quirky brand voice across all digital channels, including Quirky.com, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Pinterest, Tumblr, Instagram, Google+, LinkedIn, and other relevant channelsDrive Quirky’s digital innovation and emerging media agenda, keeping a pulse on “what’s next” and pushing Quirky to leverage relevant, emerging technologies and digital properties that will enhance the user experience and maintain Quirky’s inventive brand positioningManage relationship with Quirky’s digital agency and/or freelance partners, vendors and digital media partners The Qualifications: You have a minimum 8+ years in digital marketing, with a strong emphasis on strategy and creative content development for brand websites (PC/Mobile/Tablet), social media, display banner and email media, and search mediaYou have a proven track record in designing, executing and tracking successful marketing campaigns across key digital disciplines/platforms, including: brand website creative and technical development, user experience expertise, SEM, SEO, integrated marketing campaigns, display banner advertising, mobile marketing, user-generated content, email/CRM marketing, usability research, social media marketing, direct marketing programs (online promotions, sampling, couponing), and e-commerce integrationYou have excellent knowledge of social media platforms, especially Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, YouTube, Tumblr and Instagram, with a strong sense of different community behaviors and experience using social media to drive ROI and business goalsYou have a solid understanding of how to analyze campaign effectiveness, recreate successful campaigns, optimize sub-optimal campaigns and distill learnings for Brand and other cross-functional teamsYou have a truly collaborative personality -
