Position Description:
• Edits and maintains title information for all the following Quayside imprints (subject to change): Racepoint, Rockport, Quiver, Fair Winds, Quarry. Writes and edits copy that optimizes SEO for all titles, and for all marketing and retail outlets, reviewing and getting approval from the publishing team. Maintains the title information in our in-house system.
• Coordinates social media and online networking for the above imprints on platforms including, but not limited to, our own blogs, Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Goodreads, and YouTube.
• Tracks success and results of social media efforts and company sites. Helps assist and train authors with connecting their websites and blogs to different e-commerce affiliate accounts, as well as involving them in social media efforts.
• Provides marketing assistance and coordination generally for the imprints listed above with direction from the marketing managers, across all marketing efforts, including, but not limited to, publicity, advertising, promotions, events, author and contributor mailings, news alerts, invoices and approval processing.

Requirements:
- A demonstrated passion for both online media and the publishing world
- Adept with social media outlets while keeping current on emerging trends and new innovations in the field of online networking and marketing
- Experienced with digital publishing and title management solutions such as Firebrand
- Highly adept with Microsoft’s suite of products including Word, Excel, Access, and Powerpoint, as well as Adobe Acrobat
- Extremely organized, detail-oriented, driven, personable, and efficient while reacting quickly to ever-changing market needs and proactively seeking out new ways to improve upon existing company practices
- Bachelor’s degree in English, journalism, marketing, communications, or a related field
Desired Experience:
- Proficiency with Photoshop and inDesign a plus
- 1-2 years experience in a social media, digital marketing, or book publishing role
