ABRAMS seeks a dynamic and experienced Marketing Manager who will oversee the marketing vision and strategy for its line of award-winning cookbooks and lifestyle titles. Individual will be responsible for developing and executing innovative marketing plans by working closely with ABRAMS' dedicated editorial, publicity and digital marketing departments. The Marketing Manager will be responsible for maximizing traditional and digital media outlets, pursuing and expanding promotional partnerships with third-party companies and organizations and building relationships with a broad range of authors and key properties. Specific duties include developing and executing innovative title-specific and category marketing campaigns for trade, consumer, academic and institutional outreach; overseeing creation and production of promotional materials and advertising; managing ABRAMS' presence at select conventions and trade shows through exhibits, events and promotions; working with the Director to set and maintain the budget.

Qualifications include a bachelor's degree; 3 - 5 years of book publishing experience, specifically in marketing; demonstrated experience in marketing cooking and lifestyle books; excellent written and verbal communication skills; detail oriented, self-starter with ability to handle multiple, complex projects. Computer proficiency in Word, Excel and PowerPoint essential; TMM, InDesign and Photoshop a plus.
