YourTango is seeking an experienced media professional to join the team as our head of Branded Content. You will be the liaison between sales and editorial, working closely with both teams to ensure the two are working in a complementary fashion towards building compelling, sponsor-friendly content campaigns.

Responsibilities include:
- creating & executing unique, earned media-focused branded content campaigns for a wide range of advertisers
- building proposals for advertisers, creating sales materials & managing RFP responses
- working closely with editorial, social media, marketing & sales departments to map out sponsor-able editorial initiatives & to ensure campaign success
- writing & editing articles and sales copy
- executing monthly reader surveys
- staying on top of industry trends and user data to ensure YourTango continues to create successful, impact-driven branded content campaigns for the site

Qualifications desired:
- 3-5 years experience working in an editorial, marketing or branded content role for a digital media outlet
- Strong writing, editing & communication skills
- Fluency using Powerpoint, Photoshop & CMS (if Drupal, even better)
- Strong sense of digital media strategy & SEO practices
- Ability to work effectively and cross-functionally with all levels of management and staff
- Experience having worked successfully in a small company or entrepreneurial environment; must be a self-starter
- Upbeat, entrepreneurial attitude
- An aggressive and creative approach to branded content
- A strong desire to help build a rapidly growing media brand
- Ability to manage both people and project, and to effectively juggle various projects at one time
