The Senior Manager, Sales Marketing is a key member of the Sales Marketing team at Pandora - a growing company thriving in the mobile, radio and digital space. It is an exciting opportunity to work within a sales organization in an extremely fast-paced and rapidly changing environment. The ideal candidate has a keen knack for extracting compelling stories from multiple data sources, as well as possesses the desire to contribute to the growth of a company that calls 150 million+ users our customers.

This position will be the Sales Marketing champion for the Performance Marketing/Direct Response teams. The Performance Marketing teams have passionate, wicked smart people who make a significant contribution to our bottom line and are undergoing transformational growth. It’s an exciting time for a candidate to partner and help fuel this growth.

The charge will include becoming the marketing subject matter expert on this area of business, creating compelling stories around the value proposition, creating sales tools and collateral to support the teams, driving programming and execution of B2B events related to the two groups and identifying thought leadership stories in the form of case studies, white papers and articles to demonstrate our pole position in this space.

Responsibilities:

BE THE MARKETING QUARTERBACK FOR THE PERFORMANCE MARKETING TEAM.

*Develop compelling narratives around Pandora’s Direct Response and App Developer value proposition.
*Create marketing and sales tools that will drive business and conversions for all of Pandora’s DR channels: app downloads, phone calls, form fills, registrations, sales, etc.).
*Manage B2B event tactics: define and create content/programming for each event; manage early contract negotiations/proposals with event partners; create briefing books for executives; ensure sales tools and collateral are created and delivered in a timely manner; and Track ROI and generate wrap up report.
*Create internal and external sales tools for new product roll outs.
*Create and execute content marketing ideas for Pandora’s B2B website and newsletter.
*Develop a 360 Hybrid story designed to help educate brand reps on how the DR team collaborates with them to open up new client budgets and maximize revenue for Pandora.
*Work with Packaging and Design to ensure that there is a stable of product demos to share with clients.

TURN INSIGHTS INTO AN ARSENAL OF MARKETING TOOLS:

*With an insatiable appetite for data, insights and performance metrics, partner with the Performance teams to create thought leadership content marketing tools.
*Develop case studies, white papers, success narratives, etc.
*Work with Research to develop Audience narratives for key verticals (Travel, EDU, Mobile Retail, mCommerce, Telco, etc…)
*Work with Research to create MarCom pieces around ad effectiveness studies .

Requirements:

*7-10 years experience as a marketer in a digital media environment. Marketing/Sales experience at an Ad Network a plus.
*B2B experience preferred.
*A minimum of 2 years Direct Response/Performance marketing experience required.
*BA or BS required.
*Light travel required.

Skills & Communication:

*Strong project management skills to ensure multiple projects with varying timelines, needs, inputs and budgets are completed successfully.
*Possess a sense of urgency, but act with poise.
*Superior verbal and written communication skills.
*High curiosity for data and insights. Insatiable appetite to turn insights into marketing strategies and tactics.
*Passion for excellence and high quality in the finished product; attention to detail is critical to success.

Tools & Technology:
*Well-versed in media industry reporting providers like MobiLens, ComScore, Nielsen, etc. Must have hands-on experience using such tools.
*Excellent proficiency in PowerPoint, Outlook, Word, and Excel.
*Web publishing experience a plus.
