College publisher of quality textbooks, ebooks, and educational media seeks a Marketing Assistant to support two Marketing Managers representing the Life Sciences, Economics, and Geography lists. This individual will be responsible for the day-to-day marketing administration task, as well as relay information from the home house to the respective Marketing Managers. The candidate should be highly motivated, organized, and ambitious in order to support the work of the two high-travel Marketing Managers.

Major Responsibilities:

· Provide administrative and marketing support for two Marketing Managers and their discipline teams: Life Sciences, Economics and Geography

· Interact and correspond with members of the sales, editorial, media, finance, marketing, and advertising groups

· Communicate with college instructors, answering questions and commissioning and managing comparative reviews and class tests

· Create and assemble marketing materials for Sales Representatives and Marketing Managers

· Conduct market research, maintain targets and sales forecasts, and organize and administer marketing and social media campaigns

· Organize in-house planning meetings with other marketing assistants and coordinators

· Manage and maintain product and data information within company systems

· Assist in the preparation of and execution of two national sales meetings each year and attend regional and/or national conferences (some travel required)

Required Skills / Knowledge:

· Excellent organizational, writing, and verbal communication skills

· Strong self-motivation and attention to details

· Computer skills (Microsoft Office suite)

Experience Needed:

Four-year college degree

· Publishing experience preferred

· One year of relevant experience preferred
