Account Managers play an important role in the AmazonLocal Operations team by assisting with the processes required to make a designated region’s deals flow. This is a broad role that will evolve as our team and systems grow. Responsibilities include quality assurance, routine production tasks, merchant onboarding assistance, competitive data gathering and miscellaneous small operational projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deal quality assurance, including initial merchant quality and additional QA check of deals and email campaigns before publish
  • Assist with merchant onboarding
  • Competitive data gathering
  • Data mining and report generation for Ops metrics
  • Miscellaneous operational projects as needed
  • Routine production tasks and backup to other Account Managers as needed
  • Help define and implement new business processes
The successful candidate will have already demonstrated:
  • Strong business judgment and ownership
  • Ability to consistently deliver results despite competing priorities and distractions
  • Relentlessly high quality standards and extreme attention to detail
  • An ability to work in a fast-paced environment where continuous innovation is desired and ambiguity is the norm
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills
  • Proven analytical and quantitative skills (including effective use tools such as Excel)
  • A history of teamwork and willingness to roll up one’s sleeves to get the job done
Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 1+ years of relevant experience
Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with vendor management, buying, merchandizing, Technical Account Management (TAM) or other vendor support role
  • Project/Product/Program management related experience
  • Quality assurance experience
