AmazonLocal is a deals marketplace offering savings up to 75% on restaurants, spas, events, and more. This new business within Amazon offers a fun, fast-paced, entrepreneurial work environment where you'll be at the center of Amazon innovation.

We are looking for a marketing manager to secure and grow partnerships that will drive our acquisition of new subscribers, primarily through external ad buys and affiliate marketing. Successful candidates will have strong project and account management skills and online media buying experience, with excellent attention to detail and follow through. Their vocabulary does not include the words “that's not my job.”

Key Responsibilities
  • Prospecting, evaluating, negotiating, and buying media to drive subscriber acquisition for AmazonLocal. This will include trafficking assets, leading weekly status calls, reporting on campaigns, and aggressively optimizing campaign performance.
  • Work with the Amazon Associates team to drive sales referred to AmazonLocal from our largest affiliate partners.
  • Build and own world-class processes for managing internal campaign approvals, monthly budget planning, and asset creation and distribution.

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 3-5 years of media buying, account management, or project management experience

  • 5+ years of media buying, account management, or project management experience
  • Ability to consistently deliver results despite competing priorities
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment where continuous innovation and ambiguity are the norm
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Proven analytical and quantitative skills (including effective use of tools such as Excel)
