Reporting to the Director, Publishing Development and Media Sales, the Manager, Integrated Media Sales will be responsible for developing new opportunities for advertising and sponsorship sales growth, while maintaining current account activity, thereby increasing ASME’s media portfolio across the Society’s various media channels including digital, print and face-to-face platforms. Additional responsibilities will include:

  • Overseeing the annual budgeting, forecasting and managing of the advertising and sponsorship income
  • Developing and positioning an integrated sales strategy for all media platforms and delivery systems
  • Supervising and managing the advertising sales staff and independent sales agents
  • Partaking in an integral role in the Publication Department’s management team
  • Growing digital sponsorship/advertising revenue opportunities; including thorough knowledge and hands-on experience with ad server solutions.

This position requires a seasoned professional with a Bachelor’s degree in business management, engineering, or science with a minimum of 7 years of experience in media sales, or business development and 5 years of management experience. Basic knowledge of engineering, technology or science is a must. The ideal candidate will also have a proven track record in integrated advertising/sponsorship sales and marketing. Some travel is required for this position.
