Qualifications: Public Affairs is seeking a Manager of Editorial Services who recognizes the importance of personal responsibility and has a commitment to providing a superior level of customer service. The ideal candidate must be a highly motivated individual who demonstrates a strong commitment to the Company’s values and mission. The successful candidate for this position must be well organized, detail oriented, and flexible to handle multiple assignments and changing deadlines. Must possess strong oral and written communication skills and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with internal and external customers and provide exemplary customer service. Must have a minimum of three years of successful editorial oversight and project management experience. A Bachelor’s Degree and five years of related work experience is required.
Position requires candidate have a valid driver's license. Travel to other Company locations and vendor locations is required.


Responsibilities: Ensure implementation of Company safety, health and environmental programs for employees whose work is directed. Ensure that safe work practices are followed and the environment is fully protected in accordance with Company policy and governmental regulations. Commitment to the Way We Work Principles, and adheres the Company’s Standards of Business Conduct and other Company procedures including Environmental, Health and Safety (“EH&S”), Equal Employment Opportunity (“EEO”), discipline, and security. Manage day-to-day operations of editorial staff including oversight of communications planning, print and electronic messages including energy conservation, general consumer messages. safety, wellness, corporate giving, special events, internal newsletters, executive speeches and briefings, policy and management changes, and corporate bios. . Recommend cost management and productivity improvements for all units.
Oversee development of editorial/written content for internal and external communications. Manage editorial staff. Assess client needs and communications requests. Collaborate with art department on development of print, electronic, and digital communications. Develop communications planning for variety of campaigns for internal and customer communications. Integrate projects across platforms including video, web and photography initiatives. Oversee speech writing and executive remarks. Continually evaluate and streamline communication channels to create efficiencies and keep content fresh. Coordinate projects with production manager. Recommend cost management and productivity improvements.
