Overview: The Sales Planner position is based in New York City and reports to the Director of Sales Planning. The Sales Planner is a key member of Everyday Health Network Advertising & Sponsorship Sales team and will be responsible for preparing detailed media proposals and responses to RFP’s from advertisers and agencies seeking to advertise on all or part of the Everyday Heath Network. S/he will be required to have in depth knowledge of all Everyday Health Network properties and possess a deep understanding of each of the individual site’s components, tools, content, media placements, ad inventory, audience demographics and rate cards. The Sales Planner must be knowledgeable of the latest digital advertising trends, online media, and competitive digital ad products. Responsibilities: •Maintain in-depth knowledge of all Network inventory avails, advertising products pricing/packaging guidelines•Develop intelligent competitive proposals and presentations that meet/exceed advertiser’s media/advertising/marketing objectives/goals and win business•Produce proposals in DSM and input into ATLAS/MediaVisor as required to meet specific deadlines•Strategically match appropriate Network advertising products/inventory to advertising campaigns•Daily interface with individual members of the sales team and Manager, Sales Planning Qualifications: •Proficiency with DSM, DART, MediaVisor, and ATLAS with minimum of 2 years digital media planning experience required (Interactive Agency or Publisher).•Must be analytical and extremely detail-oriented, work well under tight time constraints and have a passion for producing a high volume of daily output•Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint skills•Proficiency in media analytics with ability to be a creative proposal builder•Ability to multi-task and function well under pressure and tight delivery timeframes.•Strong communication skills with keen ability to prioritize work in order to meet deadlines•Must be highly skilled in translating media briefs and RFPs into winning proposals that can achieve advertiser’s campaign goals, reach target audience demographics, meet specific budget requirements and performance metrics while maximizing available Network inventory within packaging and pricing guidelines.
