Our Special Markets division is currently seeking a Senior Manager, Digital Premium Sales to sell HarperCollins children's and adult titles to consumer product manufacturers, restaurants and service providers, including but not limited to consumer packaged goods, food and beverages, games, apparel, pharmaceuticals, communications providers, software, and financial services.

The Senior Manager, Digital Premium Sales:

-Executes digital/downloadable premium sales.
-Identifies new sales opportunities for use of HarperCollins books as digital and print premiums, researches contacts at targeted companies, creates and delivers sales proposals, meets with prospective and existing clients.
-Establishes contacts at promotional agencies to pursue sales opportunities.
-Communicates with marketing and editorial departments to identify sales opportunities.
-Researches companies through trade journals and online sites for continued new business development.
-Participates in departmental and interdepartmental meetings.
-Reports on sales activities to department head.
-Proactively identifies opportunities to improve service to our customers.


-5+ years relevant sales experience in trade book publishing
-Must have ability to think outside the box when streamlining and establishing processes and guidelines, and working with internal processes and systems being developed for the Digital business
-Must be flexible and have a positive attitude in a fast-changing environment
-Must be extremely detail-oriented with strong problem solving skills
-Ability to multi-task and manage parallel time-sensitive new capability projects into standard operating procedures, leveraging strong time management skills to meet assigned and unexpected deadlines.
-Strong communication skills with team members, internal and external stakeholders and upper management
-Must be a team player and understand your part in the larger picture of HarperCollins Digital Strategy
-Ability to partner with multiple senior stakeholders across the organization
