The ideal candidate for this position will have a thorough understanding of the print and digital ad sales process along with the proven ability to apply judgment, creativity and writing skills in crafting marketing, PR and sales materials as it relates to our distribution channels: print, online, social, mobile and apps.

Experience with the RFP process is a must, along with the ability to analyze and apply market research related-data and industry trends.

The successful candidate should possess excellent interpersonal skills, initiative and a high level of motivation. Must be able to maintain relationships with internal and external sources and have well developed and persuasive marketing communication skills. The ability to multi-task in an environment with strict deadlines is a must.

Knowledge of Microsoft Office products (specifically PowerPoint and Excel) is required.

Leading and coordinating the content gathering for proposals, presentations, sales sheets, media kits, email campaigns, PR, etc., this person will create, edit, proof and coordinate content from sales reps and ensure it adheres to company standards. The candidate will also:

• Assist in completion of RFPs to ensure timely delivery by using market-research related data to plan, analyze, organize, write, update and coordinate the production of RFP responses, proposals, cover letters, and other related sales materials.
• Perform competitive analysis as needed.
• Coordinate campaigns for sales/marketing and public relations efforts.
• Assist with details for tradeshows and other events.
• Perform administrative duties within the marketing department.

Required Qualifications
• BA/BS in marketing or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 3+ years of professional experience – ad agency experience preferred.
• Must have strong writing skills and ability to communicate effectively with a diverse group of individuals. Expert command of the written language to convey thoughts, ideas, recommendations and information in a clearly understood and concise manner with particular attention to detail. Works to the highest standards in spelling, grammar, syntax and style. Ability to proofread documentation, including written material and produce error free work.
• Excellent organizational, planning, and prioritization skills in a fast-paced environment, completing multiple projects simultaneously and by predetermined deadlines.
• Ability to analyze market-research and perform competitive analysis.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point. Ability to adhere to templates for each proposal that are consistent in color, layout, visual components, and overall tone.
• Ability to convert raw text files from MS Word to Power Point and apply the design format according to a pre-determined template and RFP requirements.
• Capacity to solve routine problems, work well under pressure and seek counsel of others when faced with complex problems or situations.
• Ability to listen in a way that builds and maintains rapport with internal and external clients.
