Operational and Sales Assistant
This position is responsible for both selling and coordinating promotion on BlackboardEats to restaurants and food vendors. Responsibilities include: bringing on new restaurant and artisanal partners to offer exclusive specials, and coordinating and confirming deal details and descriptions. This position will report to the Sr. Director of Operations. We are looking for a true foodie who is passionate about restaurants and cooking, a self starter, hard worker, organized, detail oriented, able to multi-task efficiently, meet deadlines, adapt quickly to new situations and be flexible, confident, extremely comfortable on the phone, team player mentality, positive attitude and energetic.Responsibilities:-Pitch and sign top restaurants and vendors to work with BBE-Develop creative ideas for restaurants and vendors to offer engaging deals & experiences.-Reach monthly quotas for signed restaurants & vendors.-Cold calls-Confirming all submitted perks; follow up calls/emails-Writing deal details-Sending editorial proofs-Manage and coordinate all aspects of the relationship between vendor and restaurant and BBE-Manage and coordinate all aspects of the promotion on BBE Requirements:Some sales experience. Candidates must have excellent communication and presentation skills, be an extremely hard worker, and be willing to work as long as it takes to make your quota. Candidates should have an optimistic go-getter attitude, great persistence and a thick skin. This is not a position for a shy demeanor.All candidates must be professional self-starters with excellent verbal, writing and organizational skills. The ability to communicate quickly and effectively, are essential.
