WEB PRODUCTION
* Sets up new articles, case studies in CMS to ensure that formatting and code is accurate; proofreads content. Inputs text edits/corrections in pages, as needed.

* Responsible for image production for articles, case studies and other web content; involves reviewing images from external sources for quality control, sizing images, setting up slideshows in CMS, scanning, light retouching and caption formatting

* Produces chapter- and member-created content—including blog posts, videos and slideshows—selected by editorial staff for republication on AIGA.org

EVENT COLLATERAL
* Works with external designers, vendors and AIGA staff to produce and deliver collateral for AIGA events (3–6 events per year). Includes:

- Print pieces such as postcards, brochures, programs and booklets
- Event website, including ongoing content maintenance
- Motion graphics and title slides
- Event signage and wayfinding, including overseeing onsite installation
- Mobile app
- Conference and promotional videos: production, post-production and publication

* Manages individual and collaborative relationships with multiple design teams for event collateral (branding/print, signage/wayfinding

REQUIREMENTS
* Bachelor’s degree, preferably in design or journalism/English
* 2-3 years experience in production in a similar position; proven track record in managing production
* Strong organizational skills, including demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, set priorities, identify and address problems, meet deadlines, and stay within budget
* Extremely detail-oriented
* Comfortable working with institutional and event branding and editorial style guidelines
* Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
* Strong knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Acrobat) required; experience with Keynote and PowerPoint desired
* Strong knowledge of HTML required
* Familiar with current SEO best practices and web analytics programs
* Experience working in a variety of CMS platforms preferred

We offer a salary in the mid $50s, as well as a benefits package that includes health, dental, retirement, etc.
