PRODUCTION & ON-SITE MANAGER - EAST HANOVER, NJ

PRIMARY FUNCTION
Work closely with staff and clients to develop and implement creative media solutions and production systems at a corporate media facility. Produce and PM corporate video stories and events. Manage a team of production professionals and act as on-site representative ensuring that contractual responsibilities are met. Manage client discovery process, staff and contractor scheduling, facility upgrades/repairs, and financial tracking for department.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
*Proactively research and build relationships with client staff to facilitate efficient communications and to promote the capabilities of the group; partners with group manager to meet with internal clients and develop project scope
*Develop innovative and cutting edge creative concepts and oversee projects through the creative process
*Create, oversee and approve budgets for media projects and live events
*Maintain archive of all budgets and actualize labor and equipment charges upon completion
*Maintain organization of all project reporting and chargeback process
*Facilitate equipment recommendations, upgrades and purchases
*Manage small staff of creative and technical production personnel; create and conduct yearly performance reviews, developing individual performance goals that support the overall objectives of the client
*Manage and track edit schedules, audio and studio schedule, remote location shoots and digital signage projects
*Assist with marketing the services and bringing in new ideas and talent to enhance portfolio, provide tours and manage the creation of demo reels and materials
*Provide analytical support to monitor the overall performance of the contract
*Help research and test new options for production operational support. Develop recommendations and conclusions from information gathered, and present findings in client meetings.
*Work with client management and Producers to ensure that personnel are utilized in the most efficient manner
*Special projects and other duties as assigned

SKILLS REQUIREMENTS
*Command of modern digital video production, equipment and processes
*Ability to give creative direction
*Energy, enthusiasm and initiative
*Customer service orientation; professional presence and superior client relationship skills
*Ability to work effectively with senior management and production colleagues in a corporate environment
*Ability to manage direct reports and contractors in an open space environment
*Fully capable of accurate time and resource budgeting, assigning effective and efficient resources for various project types
*Ability to switch from one project to another quickly and effectively; ability to quickly prioritize and reorganize events, projects and resources
*Ability to prepare cost-effective production and event budgets and apply creative solutions
* Ability to manage and resolve conflict quickly and effectively with solutions-oriented approach
*Technology familiarity with Final Cut Pro and post production process, file formats, webcast technology, videoconferencing, satellite broadcasts, digital signage, tablet & app development
*Excellent verbal and written communication skills
*Proficient in MS Office including Outlook and Excel
*Familiarity with various production and accounting software desired
*Must have a commitment to excellence and to ongoing education in video production and to the mastery of their craft
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
*Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in Design, Video/Film Production, Communications, Business or related field is expected
*Leadership initiative and direct supervisory experience
*5+ years' experience in project and budget management
*7+ years' experience in corporate creative or media, agency experience preferred
