Summary of PositionThe Vice President of Sales leads sales and marketing to drive growth, profitability and innovation.Responsibilities•Provide strategic leadership and management of the sales and marketing teams to drive company profitability.•Develop and implement Moffly media’s sales strategy.•Identify opportunities for growth, including new digital assets, sponsorships, print publications and events.•Attract, develop, motivate and lead high performance teams to improve individual and collective performance. •Set the tone for team with its sales efforts.•Safeguard execution with day-to-day, hands-on management, to maintain alignment with company mission and goals.•Clearly and regularly communicate product and initiative status and results.Ideal Background•Proven record of meeting sales and revenue targets. •Demonstrated ability to facilitate cross-team communication and processes.•Strong leadership and mentoring skills with high-performing teams.•Positive attitude and decisive with a sense of urgency.•Ability to balance strategic thinking with a hands-on day-to-day management. •Strong communication skills, verbal and written; can tell and sell a story – and listen.•Critical thinking, marketing acumen and curiosity with an eye for cultural observations.•Embraces social media.•Experienced in both print and digital media sales. •Minimum 10 years media sales experience; 5 years managing teams.•Experience with managing departments greater than 10 people.Include cover letter with resume.
