This NY based position involves the responsibility to solicit and manage national and regional corporate sponsorship digital programs for PBS Digital properties, including PBS.org, PBS Parents, PBS Food. The position involves selling digital video and banners on the desktop, mobile and other new platforms.

Essential Duties include communicating the mission, content, audience and value of corporate sponsorship on PBS.org by making formal presentations to marketing/advertising staff at corporations, and account executives, media planners, media buyers and directors at ad agencies about the use of PBS sponsorship to enhance corporate and client goals using a consultative sales technique.

The ideal candidate will have experience in digital media sales or national media planning with strong knowledge of advertising agency functions, services, hierarchy and trends
Current relationships with media personnel at major agencies in Northeast is a plus.
Excellent organizational, analytical, interpersonal and communication skills
