Specialist, International Rights and Editorial
This position is responsible for photo and text rights clearance; editorial review and development; curation and distribution of licensee best practices; production material processing; and book sample management and processing for all NGS international book products including print, digital, derivative, branded, and ancillary products. Individual will interact with sales team, licensees, editorial staff, legal staff, Records Library, Image Sales and Collections, photographers and photo agencies as needed.Bachelor's degree or equivalent preferred. At least 3 years of relevant on-the-job experience including knowledge of rights clearance, publishing, and international business. Strong computer skills including extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office and PowerPoint; proficient in Adobe Creative Suites and managing ft site. Individual should be a clear communicator who is comfortable interacting with clients from around the world who's first language may not be English. He/she should always be looking for better, more innovative and more efficient ways to get work completed. A team player who is comfortable asking questions, reaching out to people, and proposing ideas.
