XO Group Inc. seeks an enthusiastic candidate for a full time Copy Editor position that will primarily be dedicated to The Knot, as well as working on our other print publications. The ideal candidate will be an extremely organized, detail-obsessed self-starter with a passion for everything print. The ability to juggle multiple projects and stay calm and collected under pressure must be part of your DNA.You thrive on being part of a collaborative team and will never say the words “It’s not my job”! The right candidate will be proactive, smart, entrepreneurial, and enthusiastic!The Copy Editor will report to the Managing Editor and play a key role in trafficking the workflow of the print and digital properties and copyediting.Responsibilities include:-Overseeing the editorial department style guide-Maintaining archives -Working closely with the editors and art team throughout the magazine production cycles-Trafficking manuscripts and layouts throughout the routing process-Creating and updating calendars and schedules-Copyediting and proofreading The Knot's quarterly national publication as well as our 17 regional magazines that publish twice a year.
