Junior Distribution Account Executive

The Jr. Distribution AE supports this mission by collaborating with Greenleaf’s Account Executives to research and prepare timely, accurate, and engaging communications for our authors, independent sales representatives, national and international distribution partners, online and brick-and-mortar retailers, and internal clients. These communications support Greenleaf’s sales and distribution efforts and assist our clients in reaching their goals of sharing ideas and stories with the world through traditional and non-traditional platforms, both print and digital.Requirements:•Outstanding verbal and written communication skills•College degree •3+ years experience in a service-oriented industry—experience in professional services or an agency environment is particularly beneficial•Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Mac), particularly Excel•Ability to analyze, synthesize, and communicate large amounts of data for use by a variety of audiences•Strong problem-solving, multitasking, and troubleshooting skills •Proven ability to successfully manage competing deadlines, and work independently with little oversight•A driven, resilient nature with a bias for action •A keen eye for detail and uncompromising accuracy•Desire to become an integral part of a small, hardworking team with a great sense of humor The Jr. Distribution Account Executive will:•Exhibit the highest level of service and diplomacy in dealing with internal clients, contracted representatives, and vendors•Manage and execute title data dissemination to appropriate trade channels within strict external timetables•Collaborate with distribution associate to process orders from international business partners •Prepare and upload title data for use by our online business partners, ensuring that data is accurate and current•Monitor product listings on multiple websites for accuracy and completeness•Supply an independent sales force with high-quality sales materials, bibliographic information, and product samples •Manage Greenleaf’s foreign rights function, serving as a liaison between agents and authors•Perform other tasks as needed We offer:•A collaborative, progressive, and fun work environment•An intelligent, motivated, and friendly staff•An entrepreneurial environment with consistent year-over-year growth•Salary plus benefits: medical, disability, prescription, life, holidays, vacation, retirement plan, flexible spending account, HSA, and profit sharingIf OrganizedResponsiveCollaborative is your middle name, we want to hear from you!This position is based in Austin, TX.
