Associate (Social Media) is primarily responsible for institutional and individual outreach through social media and contributes to enhanced visibility of WES among international higher education professionals and students. This will involve developing and executing a coherent and relevant social media strategy in consultation with the director. It demands high degree of coordination with different units and teams members about their social media related needs.

1. Develop a social media outreach strategy in consultation with the director
2. Execute the strategy and corresponding campaigns that grow the impact of social media
3. Expand the user/follower base and engagement levels on different channels
4. Monitor and manage communication on all social media accounts/platforms
5. Coordinate with other team members to publicize upcoming webinars, workshops and events via social media platforms
6. Coordinate with customer service to manage any issues to be addressed through social media
7. Learn and adapt to the emerging technology platforms
8. Understand and communicate the outcomes of the outreach campaigns through metrics and periodic reporting
9. Undertake additional projects related to social media in line with overall WES objectives

Skills and Experience:
1. BA/BS required; MA/MS preferred.
2. Hands-on experience of 1-3 years in managing social media platforms for an organization
3. Excellent writing skills to communicate with a diverse audience in a compelling manner
4. Ability to work multiple campaigns/projects
5. Adept at project management, including time management
6. Team player with the ability to coordinate with different stakeholders
7. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
8. Understanding of towards marketing and consumer behavior principles and practices
