NBCUniversal Digital Media Sales Operations team is seeking a high-energy self-starter to manage a challenging portfolio of mobile (web, video, and apps) and emerging media (connected TVs and Xbox) advertising products. This individual will report to the Manager of Mobile and Emerging Media in the Ad Solutions group within the Sales Operation department based in New York City, and will work with peers in various technology disciplines on both coasts. This role will require a thorough understanding of new media technology platforms as well as formal digital sales product development experience.RESPONSIBILITIES*Create ad products to enhance ad targeting\trafficking on mobile and emerging media platforms.*Define and write product/feature requirements and functional specifications that articulate current and future business objectives for new products or major enhancements to existing products.*Lead cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment, including engineers, marketing, business development, customer service and partners to plan and launch projects on time, on budget and on spec.*Ensure the quality of the product by working with QA to develop use cases, review test cases, and track feature bugs. *Participate in the development of the mobile and emerging ad product roadmaps across all NBCU properties. Identify and champion opportunities to build and leverage best practices across various teams.*Act as in-house consultant on all mobile and emerging technologies for Digital Sales team.BASIC REQUIREMENTS*Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience*1-3 years technology experience with mobile and emerging media technologies.*Digital advertising knowledge is essential.*Experience or understanding of video delivery across a variety of operating systems and environments. *Understanding of the mobile content publishing platforms.*Understanding of the differences between popular mobile handset capabilities (mobile web and applications rendering) for iPad, iPhone, Android, Blackberry, SMS).ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS*Interested candidate must submit a resume/CV through www.nbcunicareers.com to be considered*Must be willing to work in New York.*Willingness to travel and work overtime, and on weekends with short notice*Must be willing to submit to a background investigation*Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States*Must be 18 years or olderDESIRED CHARACTERISTICS*Experience with Google/DoubleClick products, DFP, XFP, DART Mobile and/or FreeWheel is a major plus.*Entertainment industry experience*Experience within Digital Advertising Operations*Proven ability to work on tight deadlines and deliver quality results*Strong organizational and leadership skills*Must be able to work effectively with business and technical people at all levels including senior management*Ability to handle multiple projects concurrently.*Excellent oral and written communication skills.*Excellent customer service skills.*Vendor management experience.*Attention to detail is critical.
