We are looking for dynamic technology enthusiasts who want to serve as Sr. Account Executives, engaging a spectrum of customers ranging from startup's to Fortune 2000 companies. You will serve as a trusted advisor to some of the most exciting startup's on the planet while still needing that bespoke suit when you step in the board room to show the Fortune 2000 company CXO how to architect their multi-million dollar datacenter in the cloud. And yes you read it right - you would need to have enough technical skills to “architect” and whiteboard the components of the datacenter solution you propose. And yes, this is still a “sales” account executive job. Did we not say - we have the smartest folks here at AWS. So combine business savvy with technical muscle and you get the picture. As a sales executive your responsibilities will include (but not limited to) driving revenue, adoption, and market penetration in a territory based sales-segment .So if you are a self-starter prepared to wear multiple hats to develop a dynamic-strategy while executing against a territory coverage plan and consistently delivering on quarterly revenue targets. Keep abreast with the latest in this fast evolving technical domain of Cloud Computing Sales Metrics (Building pipeline, Managing large volume of customers, Exceeding Quota) Most critically - Customer satisfaction. At least 5 yrs of technical/engineering-sales, managing customers through the full sales cycle. A/BS in engineering, computer science, MIS, or relevant experience.Strong verbal and written communications skills.
