Licensing Manager North/Latin America
Overview:This position is the primary support for the North American and Latin American licensing business at Parragon. The successful candidate will thrive in a fast paced environment, be team oriented, and possess the interpersonal skills to interact with multiple licensors including Disney, Mattel , Nickelodeon, Discovery Kids , Saban, Entenmann's and TLC. Responsibilities:* Interface daily with licensors to support existing relationships and build new opportunities * Work with President to ensure the publishing program delivers against financial plans for North and South America* Work with President to develop business in North and South America, identifying new contractual opportunities * Develop pitch proposals, including publishing programs and financial forecast for internal review and pitch to brand owners*Negotiation of Contract extensions and renewals* Work with President ,VP Sales and licensor retail teams to maximize retailer opportunities. * Attend relevant trade shows * Manage samples and distribution to licensors * Review royalty statements to ensure accuracy before issue* Sense check actual royalties versus MG's and initial acquisition financial plan. * Share brand marketing materials/ updates with publishing coordinator and sales team where relevant Qualifications:Minimum Education and Experience Required: 5 – 7 years’ experience in brand licensing, preferably from a licensee background. Understanding of Spanish a benefitTravel – 5-10% Excellent grasp of financial data and contractsTeam oriented and ability to work across internal cross functional teams and external licensor partnersHighly organized and detail orientedProject management skills-ability to juggle multiple projects and deliver on deadlinesExcellent verbal and written communication skillsHigh energy and high level of enthusiasmA passion for licensing No Phone calls please.
