Searching for a hands-on creative writer and producer for a fast-paced internal agency of the largest outdoor media company in the country. The perfect candidate will be a highly creative and innovative thinker who possesses strong writing skills, a keen design eye and can manage projects from concept to completion. All projects must maintain network brand positioning, appeal to our target audience and meet ratings or sales goals.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Write, produce and manage promo campaigns for priority series launches, and tent-pole events
- Write and produce sponsor supported themed block promos
- Write and produce topical promos and violators for select prime time series
- Write and produce sizzle and presentation reels to support ad sales and affiliate marketing initiatives
- Write, produce and direct wraps and vignettes for sponsored stunts
- Concept and direct shoots for brand and show campaigns
- Create concept presentations and confidently present ideas to Creative Director
- Translate creative across all media including print and digital
- Effectively manage staff and freelance editors, designers and mixers
- Create and maintain project budgets
- Write creative briefs for out of house projects
- Establish and maintain relationships with all vendors, including designers, production companies and post-production facilities.

- 6+ years experience as a writer/producer within a team-oriented television promotions department or agency
- Must possess strong short form writing skills
- Must have experience in branding and network positioning
- Must be flexible, self-motivated, detail-oriented and able to juggle multiple projects successfully
- Ability to oversee projects, delegate tasks to staff and see projects through to completion
- Must be able to effectively implement design, audio, and music to bring projects to the next level
- Sportsman Channel supports authenticity, so the Ideal candidate will have knowledge of the outdoor lifestyle or possess the ability to learn quickly
- Strong collaboration and communication skills a must
- Must be willing to travel as needed based on project demands
- Bachelors Degree preferred
