This person is responsible for the physical environment and operations of the office. They will order office and shipping supplies, organize and maintain all supply and storage areas, liaison with building maintenance, manage office libraries, supervise all shipping functions, and provide backup to the Director of Office Services.
Requirements Major Responsibilities:

• monitor, purchase, distribute all office supplies
• manage all shipping functions of the office – PO, UPS, courier
• track costs and process invoices for purchases
• set up new employees with office space, UPS accounts, mailboxes
• manage office libraries: order books, shelve, handle donations
• manage office recycle and sustainability programs
• maintain office equipment and liaison with major vendors

Required Skills / Knowledge:

• comfortable with computerized invoicing and ordering systems
• able to multitask and prioritize
• communicates clearly
• works well with co-workers
• able to work under pressure


Experience Needed:

• experience in supporting a similar sized office (100)
• experience with mail machines, various shipping methods
• experience dealing with vendors in person and by phone and e-mail

Educational Background Required:
• college degree preferred but some equivalent experience considered
