Key Responsibilities:

•Implementation and review of marketing activities across North America and plans in line with the regional strategy. Activities will include: prospecting campaigns, creation of regional material, driving usage, market research and on-going monitoring of market developments, delivery of core promotional campaigns.
•Analysis and distribution of market intelligence (including customer feedback, competitor information, external reports and other data) to inform strategic decision making.
•Coordination of marketing collateral creation both in print and digital formats and shipping of print materials.
•Planning and execution of all conference-related marketing activities.
•Responsible for creating marketing lists and further developing existing lists, tracking campaigns, analyzing campaign results, and maintaining lead generation pipeline with Sales Team.
•Responsible for updating and analyzing campaign statistics in order to influence strategy and show proven results.
•Coordination with the central Marcomms department to regionalize global campaigns.
•Maintaining regional PR activity through distribution of press releases.
•Adaptation of presentations and copy templates to Sales Team, as needed.
•Run and/or provide assistance to any regional new media experiments, including social media.

Relevant publishing industry experience in a Marketing role

The successful candidate will be a team player with the ability to work effectively with people at all levels as well as on their own initiative. With relevant industry experience, you will have an excellent understanding of campaign planning, be comfortable with the use of social media, and possess a positive and proactive attitude. The role will require some domestic and international travel.
