Senior Account Supervisor (Healthcare)
Job Summary:-The Senior Account Supervisor's (SAS) primary role is the day-to-day delivery and management of account work for pharmaceutical clients of Green Room Public Relations. The SAS is responsible for first drafts of PR plans and campaign materials with guidance from Green Room partners and PR Managers, including objectives, strategies, tactics, key messages, fact sheets, Q&A's, bios, press releases, etc. The SAS provides on-site support to clients when needed and interfaces with the client frequently. In addition, the SAS provides an excellent level of client service by articulating client needs to senior managers, updating on project status and priorities and ensuring seamless workflow and communication among all team members. The SAS also provides thoughtful analysis, creates and delivers updates and progress reports, as well as provides support as needed around development of PR plans outlining objectives, strategies and tactics.The SAS plays a critical role in Green Room's mission to be a best in class public relations agency and must demonstrate: -A high level of initiative -Honesty and ability to work in a team environment-Ability to mentor junior staff-Solution-oriented problem-solving approach to challengesReporting Relationships:-Reports on a daily basis to one of Green Room's PR Senior Managers and other relevant team members, as appropriate.Credentials and Experience:-Bachelors degree in communications, public relations or journalism-Five to seven years of agency experience a must; training in communications, media or PR necessary-Experience in healthcare and FDA regulatory communications is a must -Experience with external meetings and events representing the agency and client (medical conferences, third party events, etc.)Essential Skills:-Displays solid communication skills, both oral and written-Exhibits professional demeanor and style-Anticipates well and manages time effectively-Moves projects forward to achieve objectives-Possesses computer skills, including proficiency in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint -Demonstrates organizational skills and ability to multi-task and balance priorities -Pays attention to detail and dedication to quality-Effectively meets deadlinesOverall:-A strong command of basic public relations skillsPlease include cover letter letter with resume.
