Your tasks
The Random House Publishing Group is seeking an Agent Director to support our prestigious list of author speakers.

The Agent Director is responsible for developing speaking opportunities by unearthing new leads, as well as maintaining relationships with existing clients and venues. The Agent Director will develop promotional materials, manage contractual and logistical details involved in booking engagements, oversee book sales at speaker events, and identify new platforms for speaker engagements. This role will also participate in the selection of authors for the Bureau and manage the RHPG Lecture Agent.


Our requirements
The ideal candidate possesses at minimum of five years of experience with a bureau or agency. Publishing experience is not required. Candidates must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills and a demonstrated ability to sell, market, and effectively represent our clients through all communication channels. Candidates must have demonstrated negotiation skills, particularly with clients and venues, as well as be familiar with contracts. Excellent contacts within the business and academic community are highly beneficial.
