Responsibilities:

The Sales Planner is a key member of the WebMD sales team and will work closely with Sales Directors, Sales Management, Clients and internal operation teams.

She/he is responsible for the complete lifecycle of Medscape media programs, including inventory checks, reserving/booking inventory, responding to RFP's, creating/updating IO's, campaign management, and reporting.

Responsibilities include:

Work in partnership with the Sales team to understand client objectives and needs
Develop strong understanding of Medscape media products
Assist Sales team with RFPs
Plan and reserve media
Obtain creative/3rd party tags
Effectively communicate program details to internal operation teams
Provide ongoing campaign management to ensure revenue is maximized
Analysis & perform optimizations
Proper delivery of contracted goals/ program pacing and reporting

Qualifications:

Diligent work ethic with excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills
Ability to multi-task and function well under pressure and tight delivery timeframes
Understanding of third-party advertising tags and reporting
Proactive, results-oriented with strong customer service skills
3+ years' experience in agency or publisher environment with media planning responsibilities
BA/BS is required
Knowledgeable of the latest digital advertising trends and online media
Proficiency in media analytics and Microsoft excel
Salesforce, DART, ATLAS, Point Roll, YieldEx experience a plus
