Are you a social media junkie? Do you live on Facebook, Twitter, and Pinterest? Do you think that Google+ is the wave of the future or just a flash in the pan? If you know that success in social media is more than just having a Facebook page, then keep reading.

Reingold, a leading Washington consulting firm, offers an outstanding opportunity for an entry-level communications professional to assist in the development of cutting-edge social marketing, public relations, and advertising campaigns. Prestige clients include associations, educational institutions, government agencies, corporations, and nonprofit organizations.

As part of Reingold's digital marketing team, the social media junior associate will be responsible for developing and overseeing the execution of strategic social media initiatives, including: drafting, implementing and monitoring social media strategies and viral marketing campaigns, building out new social media presences, and integrating social media into larger communications plans. This person will be instrumental in all phases of social media project planning, research, design, content development, and execution. Daily work will also involve collaboration with the consulting, IT, graphic design, and editorial teams to constantly expand Reingold's internal capabilities in new media channels and monitor social media trends to provide strategic direction for the company.

The position requires strong knowledge of social networking channels. Candidates should have experience across social media platforms-Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, YouTube, LinkedIn, Google+, and blogs-and be comfortable using each platform's analytics. Experience with listening and engagement tools such as Radian6 or Vocus is preferred. This position demands a versatile self-starter with a strong intellect and initiative, total reliability, and excellent verbal and written communication skills. The successful candidate will have knowledge of market research and communications planning. A bachelor's degree in communications, journalism, or related field is required, and two to four years' experience in social media relations or a related field essential.

We offer creative freedom, a supportive work environment, and challenging client assignments. Salary is commensurate with experience. Please email resume, cover letter, and two communications writing samples to hr@reingold.com or fax to 202-333-6620. No phone calls.
